صندلی لهستانی گونه‌ای صندلی چوبی است که در اجزای آن چوب خم‌شده به‌کار رفته است. ساخت میز و صندلی به این روش را میشائل تونت در قرن نوزدهم ابداع کرد. چون نخستین بار یکی از مهاجران لهستانی این روش را در ایران به‌کار گرفت ، این صندلی در ایران به صندلی لهستانی معروف شد؛ درحالی‌که صندلی لهستانی به امضای تونت عمدتاً در رستوران‌ها و کافی‌شاپ‌ها در سراسر جهان مورداستفاده قرار می‌گیرد، به نظر می‌رسد حتی در چیدمان منزل هم می‌تواند ایجاد سبک کرده و جزء عواملی باشد که سبک مدرن را در کنار چیدمان‌های سنتی به‌تناسب می رساند. طراحی ساده‌ صندلی لهستانی باعث می‌شود که حس خوبی در چیدمان القا شود و برای معاشرت‌های دوستانه فضای گرمی را به وجود آورد. هم‌چنین به‌عنوان صندلی‌های میز غذاخوری و یا حتی در دفتر کارخانگی و سالن‌های نشیمن نیز می‌تواند بسیار مناسب باشد.

خم کردن چوب به روش علمی و نوین، روشی برای استفاده بهینه از چوب است. به عنوان یکی از مهم‌ترین مزیت‌های آن می‌توان به تبدیل چوب به اشکال هندسی مختلف بدون ایجاد ضایعات خاک‌اره حاصل از برش چوب اشاره کرد. در روش معمولی برای اینکه چوب مثلاً به شکل دایره باشد باید آن را به شکل دایره برش داد یا اینکه دو نیم‌دایره را به هم متصل نمود که در این روش، ضایعات حاصل از برش زیاد است، ولی با تکنیک خم کردن چوب، دیگر هیچ‌گونه ضایعاتی وجود نخواهد داشت.
